From August 4th to 9th 2026, Portimão is celebrating its most important gastronomic icon once again. Throughout the riverside area, between the museum and the area between the bridges, the atmosphere will be festive, combined with, as tradition dictates, the aroma of the traditional sardine stew that promises to whet all visitors' appetites. From delicious grilled sardines to a variety of music and entertainment, there's fun for the whole family! For visitors looking for alternatives to grilled sardines, the local groups and the exhibitor area will also offer a variety of menus and options, including snacks, sweets, and the best that regional crafts and the agri-food sector have to offer.
